LADWP’s Commercial Lighting Incentive Program (CLIP)

The incentives are designed to make a wide variety of high-efficiency lighting products more affordable to LADWP’s nonresidential customers. Through the CLIP, customers receive incentives for installing high-efficiency lighting products, providing a high level of flexibility. The program provides several pathways to participation and is mostly contractor driven.

Cecille Coronel

Supervisor of LADWP’s Commercial Lighting Incentive Program (CLIP), Los Angeles Department of Water and Power

Cecille Coronel is the supervisor of the Commercial Lighting Incentive Program, also known as CLIP for short.  She has been with the Department of Water and Power for about 10 years and has worked for the City of Los Angeles for 20 years. She manages CLIP’s day to day operations and oversees the program’s business process management and customer service delivery efforts. Last fiscal year was a banner year for CLIP, the program saved 80GWh, equivalent to taking 13,000 homes off the grid and equivalent to removing  6000 cars off the street.  CLIP paid was over $17M in incentives.
