BOMA Office Floor Measurement Standard

The purpose of the BOMA area measurement standards is to promote clear communications among all participants in a real estate transaction. It is used to provide consistent measurement of rentable square footage and allow accurate comparisons through a clearly understood method of measurement. You can also use the BOMA measurement concepts to align methodologies with the International Property Measurement Standards. 

Attendees will gain and understanding of:

  • other BOMA Standards and their applications and how to choose which fits your building (Gross Area, Retail, Industrial, Mixed-Use, etc.).
  • five simple steps to measuring office space.
  • main features, benefits, terminology and concepts of the BOMA 2017 Office Standard.
